Top 100 Movies, and other news...
Now that I've seen at least 50 of AFI's Top 100 Movies of all Time, and because Sarah asked me about it, I thought I'd compile my own "Clarke's Top 100 Movies of all Time." These are just mine, so feel free to bash/disagree if you want. There's not a whole lot of "classics," because if I put some of 'em on there, it'd just be me being pretentious, so I'm going with what I really think. Also, if you're super bored, you can copy the list and put it in a reply and see which ones you've seen (this is a requirement for Sarah, so I can see how much work I have to do =) Anyway, here it is:

Finally, Georgia, you need to check out the soundtrack to the movie "I'm Not There" (the one about Bob Dylan). Actually, Sarah, since you're not a big fan of Dylan's voice, you may like it, too. I can get it to either of you right away, just let me know. Okay, all the "sort of"s we're going to have to watch. And when did you see "Elizabethtown?" we got about half an hour in, so if you're counting that time, then you should change that to no.

Good list, but you need some Alfred Hitchcock on there too. :) Also, have you seen the 1957 version of 12 Angry Men? With your taste in classic movies I think you'd like it... it's very, very good.

Oops, and I forgot to cross off The Shawshank Redemption -- seen that too! Several of the ones I haven't seen are on my current "to watch" list.

Yeah, I've got "North by Northwest" here, I just haven't watched it yet.

You did a pretty good job, for sure. There's a lot on the list worth checking out, in my opinion =)
Tina: Sokka - painting[info]rjade829 on October 30th, 2007 04:59 pm (UTC)
Thanks :) I agree. Hmmmm... I've seen North by Northwest, along with Rear Window, Vertigo, Psycho, Marnie, Rebecca, and The Man Who Knew Too Much. They're all good, I think he's brilliant, but my personal faves are probably Rear Window and The Man Who Knew Too Much.

Oh, and To Catch a Thief... but I found that one kind of boring.

What happened to the other post? Was it deleted? ANYWAY, I'm going to go pick up the soundtrack today, since you told me to. :D OMG. I want to see the movie so badly.

Haha, yeah, it's got some intersting stuff on it. I really want to see the movie, too!
